Privacy Policy

HYB (Hatch Your Beta) is a local-first console. Everything you create — channels, projects, launch materials, progress, notes, live URLs and goals — is stored in your own browser. We do not run a backend database for your workspace, and we never receive your content.

1. What we collect

We do not collect your workspace content. Channels, projects, materials, progress, notes, live URLs and goals are saved using your browser's localStorage under keys prefixed with hyb_v12_ and never transmitted to a server by the app itself.

We do not require an email address, password or any account to use HYB.

2. Where your data lives

Browser storage: your workspace is persisted on this device only. Clearing site data, using private browsing, or switching browsers or devices will make the data unavailable.
Export backups: you can export a JSON backup at any time. The file is generated on your device and downloaded directly — it is not uploaded anywhere.
Import: importing a JSON file replaces the workspace in your browser. The file is read locally and never sent to a server.

Because data is local-first, you are responsible for exporting backups if you want to keep your workspace across devices or browsers.

3. Analytics and diagnostics

This site may use Microsoft Clarity, a privacy-oriented analytics tool, to understand aggregate page usage (for example, page views and basic interaction patterns). Clarity does not receive the contents of your projects, materials or notes, because that content never leaves your browser.

Analytics is used only to improve the product and does not identify you personally. You can block it with a content blocker or by disabling JavaScript; the core console requires JavaScript to run.

4. Cookies

HYB does not set its own advertising or tracking cookies. Your preferences (such as language and collapsed panels) are stored in localStorage, not in cookies. Any third-party analytics may use its own identifiers according to its own policy.

5. Third-party links

The console lists many external growth channels and directories. Clicking an external link opens a third-party website, which has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the practices of those sites.

6. Your choices

Delete your data: use the “Reset data” button in the app footer, or clear site data in your browser settings.
Back up your data: use the “Export” button to download a JSON copy.
Stay offline: the console works without sending your content to us.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this page to reflect product or legal changes. The “Last updated” date above will be revised when we do. Continued use of HYB after a change means you accept the updated policy.
